As a trauma-informed health coach, I approach my work with deep empathy and a strong commitment to supporting individuals on their healing journeys. My journey began with a profound recognition of how trauma impacts health and well-being. Through education and personal experience, I’ve developed a holistic approach integrating trauma-informed principles into my coaching practice.
Central to my approach is creating a safe and supportive environment for clients, acknowledging the uniqueness of each person’s experience with trauma. I prioritise building trust and rapport by approaching every interaction with sensitivity and compassion.
Empowerment is key in my practice—I believe in the resilience of the human spirit. I help clients reclaim agency over their health through coping strategies, boundary-setting, and cultivating self-compassion.
Recognising the interconnectedness of physical, mental, and emotional health, I collaborate with clients to address root causes of issues like chronic pain or insomnia, integrating mindfulness and movement practices for overall well-being.
Continuous learning and growth are essential. I engage in ongoing education and reflection to deepen my understanding of trauma and refine my coaching skills, remaining open to feedback.
Through my work, I’ve witnessed the transformative impact of compassion and connection. It’s a privilege to support clients in reclaiming their self-worth and resilience, guiding them towards healing and wholeness.
Being a trauma-informed health coach is more than a profession—it’s a compassionate calling. By creating safe spaces and addressing health holistically, I aim to empower clients to thrive on their own terms.
